2025 marked another milestone for Serang School
Dear friend,
Namaste. I'm Nuptul Tenpei Nyima, the founder of Serang School. I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to you with a heart full of gratitude and wonderful news to share with you.
The year 2025 is a monumental year for Serang School. We have now progressed from a basic school to a secondary school.
For the first time in our school’s history, our students were eligible to participate in the President Running Shield Competition organized by Chum-Nubri rural municipality. Our students gained experience and learnt a lot competing in various games, winning a few trophies. More importantly, they had the wonderful opportunity to interact with children from other schools, building friendships and learning about team work and sportsmanship. Seeing the confidence and joy on their faces as they represent our school was truly heartwarming.
Our branch campus in Bihi is also making excellent progress. We have nearly completed the construction, including main buildings, the playground area, and the toilets and bathrooms. We made every effort to relocate from Serang before the harsh winter season arrived. However, based on our current progress, it may take another 2 months or more to finish the construction. We are still collecting funds to complete the inner furnishings.
This remarkable progress would have not been possible without your generous support and belief in our mission. You have helped us build a foundation that will transform the future of these underprivileged children. We truly appreciate your compassionate support.
