We made it! Eighth Grade Certificate Ceremony

A thousand community members gathered on May 8, 2025 to celebrate for 8th Grade students' graduation. The students all expressed strong wishes to continue their studies and have now started the 9th Grade studies in the 2025 academic year

On the 8th May 2025, the memorable day of Serang community, the serene town of Serang gathered to celebrate a momentous milestone—the Certificate Ceremony for the eighth-grade students. About a thousand community members, including proud parents, dedicated teachers, and monastic members came together to witness this special occasion. The joy and pride radiating from the faces of the students and their families deeply touched everyone present.

This achievement was not just a reflection of individual effort, but a shining testament to the unwavering dedication of the students, the compassionate support of donors, and the relentless commitment of the monastery team. It was a beautiful reminder that with kindness, perseverance, and collective effort, dreams can indeed come true.

During the ceremony, the students expressed their deepest gratitude to their sponsors and supporters—those who believed in them and helped pave their academic path. The event was held in conjunction with the annual Serang Vajra Kilaya Drubchen. Monastic students performed traditional Dharma dances that blessed the gathering, while students from the school showcased dances representing Nepali, Tibetan, and modern English cultures—bridging worlds through art and tradition.

Esteemed community leaders such as Karma Rinpoche, Nuptul Rinpoche, and Tulku Jigme Rinpoche expressed their heartfelt happiness and optimism. They firmly believe that Serang School will continue to transform lives and make a meaningful difference in the years ahead.

Nuptul Tenpei Nyima Rinpoche, the founder of Serang School, shared his sincere gratitude and respect for the donors, friends, and organizations that united in this noble cause. Their love, care, and generosity created opportunities for children who need it most—children in need of hope, care, and access to basic education. Without their unwavering support, today’s achievements would not have been possible. 

The eighth-grade students are thrilled to continue their studies at Serang School as the school is being upgraded to a secondary school. They started their class in 9th grade after the ceremony. 

We sincerely hope that the continued kindness and support of all our dear donors will inspire even greater positive change in the days to come. Together, we nurture dreams and build a brighter future for the children of Serang.
